SWISS BRITISH CLASSIC CAR MEETING in Morges, Vaud, Saturday 4 October: a treat for all old car lovers. This year’s guest of honour car is the Austin. A special event is the attempt by one of the participants in the show to repeat, in a 1946 Austin type 16, a famous publicity stunt of 1947, driving to seven European capitals in seven days (Stockholm to Bern) to prove the slogan “You can count on an Austin.”

Newcomers this year include WRS/World Radio Switzerland, psychotherapist David Schiesher (an occasional contributor to GenevaLunch), Transparence ethical jewelry,the Geneva Pond Club, the Whiskey Experience, British Swiss Chamber of Commerce and more - a great mix! JERRY WHITE , Tuesday 14 October, talking about his new book, I Will Not be Broken . He has drawn international attention to the problems of landmines and is a co-recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. He’ll talk about his own experience, hit by a landmine at age 20, his five steps for crisis management, and his work as the founder of Survivor Corps . Sponsored by GWIT.
